While we were in Las Vegas to shoot Leslie and Courtney’s incredible wedding, we stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel. From our room, we could watch people do the SkyJump. On our last day in Vegas, John decided to do it as well.
I was absolutely fine with the idea.. until I saw him get into the jump suit. Then I started to panic. 108 floors. 829ft. That’s a long way down! I was a ball of nerves! On top of that, there was an excruciating 15 minute wait while he went up to the top, got strapped in, and waited his turn. I was a wreck.
We heard his name being called as the next jumped. By this time, my hands were shaking so much that I was afraid I wouldn’t get a decent photo!
Then he leaped off the top of the building! That’s when my nerves gave way to pure excitement for him. I could see the smile on his face, and I screamed his entire way down for him!
The perfect ending to an incredible vacation!
