Amanda and Mark live life BIG. They have traveled the world together, hiking and experiencing everything life has to offer, but when planning their wedding, decided to get married right here in Newfoundland. Choosing historic Quidi Vidi as the backdrop of their wedding, they held both their ceremony and reception at Mallard Cottage.
The day began with everyone getting ready at the Inn at Mallard Cottage, followed by a private first look with just Amanda and Mark. Sharing a moment together, just for the two of them, was incredible! (But the look on Mark’s face shows how the moment of Amanda walking down the aisle towards him was still a showstopper for him!) After some family and bridal party photos around Quidi Vidi, I stole Amanda and Mark away to some closeby locations, before heading back to Mallard Cottage for their ceremony.
There wasn’t a minute this magical couple weren’t laughing, smiling and loving, completely lost in each other. They filled Mallard to the brim with the most loving people I’ve ever met in my life, and celebrated all night long! I couldn’t be more grateful to have met such a couple who wanted their wedding to be about the important things. Family, friends, fun, good drinks, good food, love, laughter, and happily ever after.
