Engaged only a few weeks ago, Susan and Robin are getting married in just a few short months, at the end of August! Needing to plan quickly, Susan found my Newfoundland Brides Facebook Group. Filled with a ton of advice it’s a must for anyone planning a wedding here in Newfoundland. And that’s where she found me! 🙂 Normally, someone looking to book a photographer in such a short period of time is going to find it difficult. But as it happened, August 29th was the only date I had left available for booking for the entire summer, and that was the date she was planning for! Sometimes, things that are meant to be just work out flawlessly.
Susan and Robin chose to have their engagement session in historic Quidi Vidi. As I’ve mentioned before, it’s one of my favorite spots in the city for photos! There’s so much scenery that is the epitome of what people imagine when they think Newfoundland. It’s a photographers dream location! Being personal friends with owner Todd Perrin, Robin arranged for us to visit the spectacular Mallard Cottage for some pictures. This was such a treat for John and I, because Mallard Cottage is one of our favorite restaurants!
This was one of the most fun engagement sessions we’ve ever done. If you spend 5 minutes with them, you can see how much Robin absolutely adores his bride to be, and how excited Susan is to spend her life with him. They are so in love!
